you know, i was working on my suspension this weekend and pleasantly found the rear trailing arms in pretty damn good condition, and had the metal plates in the rubber. so i guess the previous owner actually paid the dealer to replace these before.

Make sure that you measure your original bushing! It's possible that the arm has been replaced sometime in it's history. Just to be sure!!!

good idea. although we pulled them from a car with 50k on it. it was an abs car and all looked to be untouched. but i will measure before hand.

The extra work is worth it when you go the extra mile to install Mugen DC2 TA bushings in your DA TA's

Here is my write up doing pretty much exactly the same thing, using the small diameter Mugen bushing within the DA outer shell. At the time I didn't know that the larger diameter bushings were available from Honda.

It's the same link I posted above that lists the part numbers for both size "Honda" bushings.

Hey Wes
I'm Archon/SE-37K on G2IC. You were a part of our Trailing Arm Bushing Development thread over there.
At the time we started that thread, Honda had not released the SK7 part so we had to go looking for alternatives to buying DC2 arms which some of the G2IC guys did. Thanks for your contributions

We've only been able to locate the SK7 at Honda dealers in the US and Acura dealers in Canada.

SLHondaparts.com has both (you can even get honda tools from them if you have the part number). Just go to "Search" and paste in the part number & click buy when it comes up. The DA bushing is a little more expensive though (and a little less stiff). The new honda replacment bushings save money over the Mugen ones, but apear to be the same stiffness...
