Im running a obd2 prelude with a obd1 jdm h22a - cross referenced the cyp ckp and tdc sensors - hooked everything up converted to external coil, still using obd2 injectors since im using obd2 computer, motor runs great but no vtec, and either rev limiter or fuel cut at 6500 rpm...??????

Any CEL's? Usaully, but not always, there will be a CEL on for no VTEC.

 

hey im doing the same swap on my 97 honda prelude right now, with a 93 jdm OBD1 h22a and lsd tranny. i wondering if you can help me. did you used the same obd2 wiring harness? or you bought a 92-95 OBD1 prelude SI wiring harness? how did you bypass the mobilizer(im using the obd1 p13 ECU). or anything else that you think is helpful for me on this swap. if i find out how to get the vtec to work i will help you out too. thank you in advance.
