sup guys i just bought a stock 01 s2k and i wanna put some rims on them but i dont know what to get cause the front are 7.5 and rear is 8.5 i think not sure but i want to put aftermarket on so what the widest i can go in the front and rear.

the fronts are 6.5 and the rears are 7.5, not 7 and 8 respectively.

the widest you can go would be a 10.5", but it isn't recommended. heck, a 10" would be fine, but you are looking at extra wear and tear on that rear end. on the front's you can stuff an 8" up there, or up to 9" if you have aftermarket coilovers with remote reservoirs.

stick with the staggard setup, and if you wonder why, please search.

8 in front, 9 in rear is ideal

 

well i payed for the s2k in cash, just got out of a lawsuit and left my pockets heavy so really dont got a limit. but thanks for the info

 

my buddy has 10 inch wide in the rear... and no rubbing and his car is slammed...
