Default Exhaust help for 4dr GS-R

So can anyone tell me what would be the best solution for exhaust on a 2001 GS-R 4 door? I am having a hard time finding stuff. I was looking at APEXI Worldsport though.........any other ideas though? Thanks.

go custom, it'll be your best bet. Just find a good muffler and tell the guys at the exhaust shop to give you 2.25" piping with a resonator. My guess is that it'll be ~80 bucks for the piping + how ever much a resonator is + cost of the muffler. Good luck

Apex i WS2 = My #1 choice. Clean, simple, mild sound cruising down the streets, screams at vtec and feels smooth in general. Best bang for your buck, good quality stuff. Everything else is similar, but WHY?

i did that. 2.25 piping no cat, no resonators, hooked up to a stock ls muffler.
120 bucks + 40 for muffler.

no annoying sounds driving down the street =

WS is a great exhaust, but it can limit you on making power. If you dont car about the loudness, i would go with something like the N-1, or if you can find a manufactured 2.5in exhuast for the 4-door, that is a even better idea. The thing with custom exhuast from a muffler shop is most likely it will be raspy and extremely loud. i have WS right now, but i want to get rid of it for something that flows more, plus i think loud exhuast is kinda fun, maybe cuz i have always had quiet exhuast...

there are so many ways of doing this....just keep in mind whatever route you take, make sure you have backpressure in mind.

Im having the same problem but i found this exhuast guide that should be more helpful. Everyone should actual read it very interesting and contraversal and eliminates alot of myths about back pressure.

well i am definitely still scratching my head on this one. i am personally against going to a muffler shop, and i think n-1 would be a little too loud, but then again, i just want something appropriate that will be beneficial and fit a four door, so if anyone has links, that would be great.

oh yeah, i just got some smoked bumper lights, so i have my 2001 GS-R amber light fixtures (no bulbs) that are in really good shape that i want to sell on ebay if anyone is interested.....

did you have to hunt hard to find it to fit a four door, or do i not even need to worry about my car being a four door when looking at world sport or any exhaust for that matter?
