Default Hatch with Wagon Wiring Harness

Well, when I put an `88 engine harness on my 91 hatch's chassis harness, I learned the hard way that the two use different plugs...
So, I had to solder the engine harness permenatly on.

I want to intstall my new motor. I have a 91 wagon chassis and engine harness. Should I:

A. Solder the new plugs for the chassis harness, and use the new engine harness.

B. install the whole wagon harness

Any one use a wagon harness in a hatch?

I'd hate to pull my dash etc.. to find out the chassis harness doesn't line up..

i'd unhook every sensor from the engine while its in the car, toss it off the side, pull the motor, and hook the harness back up. not the easiest way to do it, but you pay for that when you hardwire ****.

The motor is out (fresh rebuild). I'm definetly using the wagon's engine harness. I am just wondering about trying to install a wagon chassis harness in the hatch. It's been a few years since I've done an EF chassis harness. It may end up being easier to just solder the new plug on the end of the chassis harness under the hood.

I would defantly just solder on the plug.
