I own a '93 del sol with the SOHC non-vtech ZC motor. My question is can i purchase a SOHC VTech motor head and put that in my car. a friend suggested it but i wasn't sure if i could. If so would i have to replace anything else? Get a VTech controller/gauge?

From what i have seen, if you misspell Vtec as Vtech, you will not get a respond from the helpful people on HT, just the haters...

and yes i have heard you can do the head swap...

 

Yes you can replace the head with a VTEC head. It's called a mini-me.

 

ZC block + d16y8 head + d16y8 tranny (steel shift forks) = good mini me
