I have a 01 accord,
For what i know #1 cylinder is the one on the pulley side and #4 is on the flywheel side. but i heard it was the other way around
can anyone can back me up on that one, i couldnt find a proof anywhere.

It may explain my bad valves adjustment

no, you are correct as to which cylinder is #1 and which is #4...

 

you're right. 4 is the dizzy side and 1 is the tbelt side.
