there is an annoying squeeking noise coming from my suspension. as of now they are tein s tech w/ illuminas. some of my friends said it might be bushings. its whnwe i slow down or turn or something it will make the noise. what do you think the problem is"?

if it matters,
- Tein S Springs
-TokicoIlumina Adjustable Shocks (Front)
-Tokico Blues (Rear)
im afraid if it is a bad shock

 

either its the spring creaking or usaully its the arms from the control that bolt to the frame that plate rubs on the frame and creaks try tighting up everything itl prolyl work and spray the **** donw with a lub like wd 40

 

ok, that probably what i am going to be doing, the noise is only coming from the front passengers side. any other opinions? thanks

 

if you plan on removing any bolts id anti seize em also, or lube em that will help also, just dont over tighten thats never good eithyer, good luck

 

from what ive experienced the noise is associated to the stiffness of the suspension. try lubing all the suspension bushings and the rubber spacers on the strut mounts and spring mount on the shocks themselfs. im running neuspeed springs and illuminas and i have no noise coming from the suspension. i lube everthing up evertime i do an oil change. works for me

 

One of my zeals squeaks too...hoping it isn't something bad...
