Default Questions on Sway bar's.

I was wondering what sway bar would be best for my 98 hatch. I also heard that some sway bar's might have problems clearing my RS*R Ex-Mag exhaust?!?. Also i was wondering what would be the best mm? Thanks in advance

the reason why no one asnwered your question was that, well you really didn't give us a question, you never told us what the car is used for what you want out of it, what other performance mods you have done or anything.

there is a thread in here that needs to be stickyed, basiclly it tells you how to ask a question

So far my 99-00 Si sway bar has served me well. I'm sure I'll want to move on to bigger and better things eventually but we'll see. I say a GSR rear swaybar will do you good. I suggest you look into a subframe reinforcement though. 6th gens are known for subframes ripping.

I had a 00 Si bar on mine, now I have a 22 mm ITR bar w/ Beaks. It's a 98 Civic fo doo.

The ITR bar has got to be the best thing I've ever done for so lil money. But now I gotta shell out $180 for the a-spec racing brace, but that's cool... totally worth every penny, esp given the rest of my susp!

I don't know a thing about clearance though cuz I don't have such problems.

does your RS*R go over or under the rear lower control arm?
And 22mm is arguably the best to balance out a car that will see mostly street use.

im a planning on getting the srr sway/tie bar kit. i just order a N1 muffler. i want my muffler put on with a big slant (jdm) when my question is the muffler going to hit/ or cause conflict with my swap bar? or should i get the bar first and have the muffler place work around it

only way to find out is to put it on your car and see it from under the car while it's on the lift.

you could ask the company but depending on your exhaust setup.

my 22mm itr sway bar cleared hi tech exhaust by like one inch. just barely enough. i highly doubt i could put 32mm hollow a-spec sway bar.
