Default EF9 Front / Intercooler Piping...

Ok...so i test mounted my JRC 6" last night for the first time and had to cut my bumper a little bit.
Heres a pic:

Now..my question is, see where the inlet/outlet of the intercooler are at?
this leaves me with minimal room for piping due to the bumper mounts and possibly the bumper lenses.
i had the intercooler mounted with angled ends on the top like this:

But, it just doesnt look right when the bumper is on, but doing it this way may leave me with more space for the piping coming off of the intercooler (im talking no more than 1/2"-1" ,meaning that the inlet/outlet will move down about that much leaving me with a little bit more room for the possibility of running the piping under the bumper lenses.

Can anyone show me pictures of thier intercooler and or pipe routing on thier EF9 front and or tell me what experiences they had?
any pics of intercooler piping with the bumper off/on with similar style intercooler?

Also..as long as im here:
What did those of you who have to do in order to get your half length dual core radiator to fit without having to buy a crossmemeber or cutting the hood?
theres gotta be something i can do about this little problem of the radiator being too tall.
any help would be great

You can use a Dodge Neon Radiator...Its half the size and it bolts right in..

i have an ef8 front end but they basically the same. to hid the intercooler, shave as much as possible but still leaving the front looking like stock then if this was my hatch i would hang the intercooler alittle lower so it will go under the bumper lense. my set up i had to punch a hole right in the middle of the the driver side frame rail to run ur intercooler piping thru. because u wouldnt want to have ur piping smack the ground all day and night. BUT IF I HAD TO REDO EVERYTHING I WOULOD GET A BACK DOOR INTERCOOLER AND SAVE THE PIPING HEADACHE.

Yes i had to cut the bumper for the intercooler to fit correctly...but i believe i didnt have to cut as much as i did,but i couldnt think of any other way to do it that looked any cooler. i didnt want to cut it at all originally but the bumper wouldnt go on.

The neon radiator idea is an option im trying to stay away from because the fact that theres nowhere for a pressuriszed cap to go...and i dont really want to have one on the upper radiator hose because that will look hidious.
who knows...maybe i will go that route unless i can get this stupid del sol radiator to fit.

Can anyone show me how they ran thier intercooler piping on a ef9 front with a similar intercooler? you know what...even if you have a usdm front...let me see your pipe routing with the bumper off...that may just help me also.

thanks guys

Heres What I Did...

First i fabbed up my own crossmember to free up some room (no pics of that yet)

Then i tilted the radiator in the engine bay so i wouldnt have any hood clearance issues then fabbed up a sweet cooling plate out of an old piece of aluminum and made a custom lower radiator support. i think it turned out pretty killer

Then i had to cut away the lower portion of the front bumper supports to fit the intercooler piping and now the bumper fits pretty damn good and i happy with how the JRC 6" looks behind the EF9 bumper

I'll have better pics of everything once i get this thing on the road and all buttoned up all nice and clean.
