no it doesnt have acid, when I bought it the guy said something about a dry cell...it weighs about 6 pounds

 

any idea on cold cranking amps? Just worried b/c it gets a lot colder up here in PA then in TX.

 

honestly I have no idea... but I can check on the battery when I get home to see if it has any info on it.
