Default 15 vs 13 slicks on all motor drag

hi,

im having a dilemma choosing slicks for my EG k20a hatch.

i have the chance to buy 24.5/8/13 and 24.5/8/15 and the guy who sells them told me they will perform the same.

i know most all motor guys use 13" but with 15" i wont need to buy drag wheels for it. i can just use my street wheels.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

24.5 seem kinda wide.. Maybe a 23" slick would be better. Unless your making the power to spin 24.5'"s

he is running them on a JDM K20A EG hatch..
I run the 24.5-9-13..
Personally I would go for the 13" wheel if it fits over your brakes..
also just start with the tyres pumped up abit maybe 16psi and let them down, I wouldn't wanna hear about those Axles snapping. If you do break them you had better hunt down some JDM axles and use them instead of the conversion kit axles..

Good Luck zz10xx , Yonas was talking to me about the set-up before to. fingers crossed you break the Australian N/A record..

go with 13's...13's will be lighter, and for allmotor guys like us, we like everything to be very light...and 24.5" i think will be too tall, and if you're not pushing major power, it'll take more power to turn those 24.5's...go with 22" or 23"...22's and 23's would be good for cars with about 200whp to about 220whp...N/A that is.
