Default JDM SiR Speedometer Signal 12V or 5V?

I am about to install a CRX SiR cluster.
All the sites I've read don't mention if the SiR speedometer is 12Volt signal or 5Volt.

Does anyone know?

The speed sensor on the trans has 3 wires, ground, signal and ?volts +.

My car is OBD1, I don't know if the P72 will be happy with only getting a 5volt signal.

I also don't want to burn up my speedometer motor by feeding it too many volts (12volts)

Has anyone ever done this that can chime in?

its a 12v, just wire your speed sensor into the 12v switched power on your cluster
