Default used ARP head bolts

i have a set of used ARP head studs that i got 4 free just want to know if i should use them in a my new motor or just buy a new set

arp bolts are supposed to be re-usable

2k.civic.si is right. ARP studs are re-usable. As long as they are in good condition they will be fine. Good luck with the build.

they are reusable to a certain extent. The ARP head studs can stretch as well. There's not real recommendation on how many times it can be re-used. But we keep it to about 3-4 times and we get a new set.

The time and labor you put into taking off and putting back the head is alot and $120 is a good investment to assure yourself that its done right.

im just curious if anyone has actually checked to see how much the arp bolts do stretch....has anyone done testing or seen a site with testing on how many times u can reuse arp bolts?
