where is the valve cover ground best located on a d series motor? on teh grommet where the nut is or in front of the valve cover?

The grommet for the acorn nut is the ground for the head (that stud goes down to the head)

The hole on the front is for the valve cover itself.

Nah, that was actually on a dirty day. Someday I'll post some pics...most people are shocked when they see it. Seriously. I'm obsessive compulsive about it. I finally got all the "dookie" from behind the header on the block just last week. Now the entire block shines white all the way to the oil-pan.
