im putting a manual trans in my auto ls and everyone says to get the b16 trans. if i do get a b16 trans will i have to get a manual b16trans ecu to go along with it and if i do get the b16manual ecu and later decide to put a b18c motor in will i then have to get a ecu to fit the new motor. im not sure how this goes so if you can fill me in i would appreciate it.

someone correct me if im wrong.

B series trannies will work with B series motors, no modification needed.
but you will need a new ecu when you switch the motor. B/c your putting a vtec motor in.
