IF YOU HAVE PICS OF LIP/BUMPER DAMAGE FROM BEING TOO LOW, POST EM!!!

Well guys, i made the mistake of taking the integra out last month, while there was still a chance for snow. Although on this particular day snow wasn't in the forecast, we got plenty of it after i had already gotten to work, and was stuck driving home in it. I went to Sears @ lunch to exchange a ratchet, and while i was pulling in, i slid on some snow/ice **** (damned bald michelin pilots ) and hit a curb w/ my once beautiful lip at about 6 MPH.
Ice > My driving. Here are the pics, along w/ some full pics of the car as she sits now after a good wash. I know, it needs paint, it's all 14 years old, except for the bumper, where it's the worst. Help convince me to keep this car, i'm getting frustrated!









BTW, shitty pics were taken w/ Sony Cybershot, 3.2 MP. Plus my photography skillz < *. Comments welcome, but haters please be kind, as it's been a rough month .

 

keeep it! reminds me of my DA. If you get rid of it you will regret it, believe me. Just take the lip off in the winter, easy fix for a beautiful car

 

thanks man. i would remove the lip, but it is officialy part of the bumper now (i.e. 8 HUGE bolts and about 14 rivets). I drive that primered sentra in the winter, so i never worried about it... but you know what they say, it only takes once. More comments please. And let's see some damage guys, i know some of you are on your 3rd or 4th lip! I WANT PICS!

half of my friends lip broke off while driving after he ate something on the road, for abs

 

looks clean...sucks about the lip

 

thanks for the compliments guys, i actually have ABS, but disconnected it due to the fact that my accumulator is leaky and the pump runs constantly . haven't taken the time to fix it, once you work on hondas for a living, you seem to phase out working on your own...?
btw, i'm getting type-r style ABS lip next time for sure, so my feelings won't be so hurt if this happens again

yea, i cant wait tilll that happens to my carbon lip bc of the shitty roads in cleve.

it will happen one day . its inevitable up here.

^ super low, but it moves a bit if it has 2, and isn't week fiber glass like my VIS

notice the VIS hangs real low, and doesn't go in the opening like my other lip does, the VIS is dope looking, but it just hangs way 2 low, unless you want to raise your car, who wants to do that???

EXACTLY. this is exactly what i'm talking about. props to you for replacing so many lips, and from the looks of your car, it's been worth it.

damn, to bad i didnt take any pics of my busted ABS one. I can take pictures of the bumper that was on my car at the time it happened though.

Edit: The bumper the lip was on didn't make it out to well either. Took it off of my car after about a month driving around with it like this. In the pictures you cant see, it is actually bent. O well
