B A N G!
I recently installed a set of Ractive coilover springs on my 00ls and it is botteming out pretty bad hear, everyone I talk to says it shouldn't be happening. I was wondering what the problem might be, the front end sits right above the tire and the back is about half an inch off it. It was suggested I buy some new adjustable shocks? Any help would be great!
I'm sorry if you have heard this before or if this seems like a dumb question but all the help I get on hear turns out great.

i dont think your springs quality is whats causing you to bottom out.
from what you said about the ride height i have a feeling it might be the fact that you are getting used to driving a car thats lowered.
be careful around curbs and speed bumps. look out for potholes (when you hit a pothole it'll sound like your cars just exploded, this is because the spring rate is alot more intense than stocks).
these are all normal things. the only difference from the ractives and the other brands is a tad bit of ride quality. the only coil over conversion i've ridin on that had a decent amount of ride quality was Ground controls. so i'm going to say you'll be fine on the ractives.

In my opinion sprigns are springs and they all do their job so I wasn't thinkng it was the Ractive springs doing it. You're right, I am still getting use to driving the car lowerd but there are times when I hit slight declines in the road and bang! I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make the car a bit less bouncy and hold it's own ya know?

To a point... This thread is stupid. Look. There are only a couple companies out there that own the proper machinery to coil the springs. These machines cost millions. H&R Springs, located in Bellingham Washington is one such company that pretty much coils every spring sold in North America. They then take their own make, and paint them to the color that the company who is "making their own" needs them. There are very minor discrempencies in the quality of the material used every now and then, but you would never notice.
The reason why your car rides like **** is because you lowered the car, on aftermarket springs and failed to install some proper struts to go along with it, and now...it sounds like your blowing them. Because you lowered the car, the strut pistons are pushed in what...3-5 inches more than they should be which is insufficient time for them to react.
Take the advice of others. You get what you paid for. Now you have to buy new stuff and will have a hard time selling blown and worthless parts. Live and learn.

You're exactly right, this is a process of learning. Here's the deal, when I come up on my next pay check i'm going to buy a brand new system struts and all. Granted my springs are fine I can sell them on ebay.
Lets say I "start over" could you help me with picking a sufficant set up? I really do appreciate your help.
