lol, its his ear rack, you'll notice its connected to a wire frame holding his ears up....
It helps the ears to stand after they are cropped....
He should be able to stop wearing the rack in another 3 - 4 weeks
Both he and I will be very happy, although he is used to it now, really doesn't bother him anymore....

ears cropped.....i thought it was common knowledge that Dobeys had their ears cropped. Originally it was done to as a protection/security measure. if the dog was attacking or alerting of a thief etc the assailant couldnt pull on the dogs ears, their hand would simply slide off.
I miss my Dobey......best dog i EVER had period, hands down.
RIP Niki.

i had a few doberman myself. gaved them all away. Are you feeding your dog right? looks alittle skinny.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Lol....nice comment....actually if you HAD to compare it to cars, Id say its more like adding CF Spoon mirrors.....smaller, lighter, better looking, more aerodynamic and functional.
As far as his weight....he is only 4 months old and 43+ pounds, he is going to be very large boy. His shape is actually breed perfect....are you sure you really know what you're talking about?

Not right now, but we might be getting one in April from the same father of our dog now....the breeders are mating him with a red....we're hoping for one...we already have our deposit in for first pick!
Our dog needs a playmate! We will definately post pics if we get one!
