Default Quick question on valve terrain

K so briefly my timing belt broke and bent 8 valves (so since i am not planning on gonna go crazy on making this car quicker with turbo or anything i just replaced the bent ones with Beck-Arnely Valves (low on money this whole insident kinda snuck up on me) So i guess i was just wondering if replacing these valves is at all going to lower my performance or make me be more scared about being tough on my car.
Also when people talk about getting higher rev's what is it that you want to upgrade valves valve springs? or im guessing all but wat seems to be the couple most important things?

If you want higher revs, you want to balance your entire rotating assembly, get better valve springs/retainers, and new cams so you can actually use the higher revs.
