Im looking to buy a oil cooler from a ITR or GSR to use on my ls vtec. What all would I have to do to get it to work. Is it really worth buying? Its going to be a daily driver just for drag racing so.

doubt its really needed unless you either roadrace or run your engine at high RPMs all the time.

 

if you get the entire setup off a gsr/b16 you only have to drill and tap one hole in the block. we do this on every crvtec we build and i highly recommend it.

 

I'm reading a lot about this and am unwilling to tap into my block, as we've recently completely assembled the engine.

We were thinking of tee-ing into the Heater Core return line which goes into the side of the head.

A few have suggested that throughout these 'GSR oil cooler on LS block' threads, but no one has said that they've actually done it. We may do it.
