I see several rolling rocks there, which makes me think they inspired you to do that, in which case it is acceptable.

You need a wingman wheel and you're all set

You gotta get use to it some how. Although I don't think that counts toward your track time.

That's pretty cool. Not sure how your legs fit underneath the desk with those thigh supports, but I like the style. Now... you don't use a multi-layer firesuit as your pajamas, do you? That, my friend, could indicate a problem

only if he sleeps with the helmet on too. that could cause some neck cramps. and we cant have doctor bills eating into the racer budget

legs are a tight fit, but that means my body stays in one place during impact. and the helmet and gloves are in the car at all times

Actually sleeping with your helmet on feels GREAT. Any conceivable position you can think of is supported by the added bulk..it works like a really firm pillow. It's fan-f***ing-tastic and I recommend it to everyone on this board.

thats the only downside. You have to breathe properly and leave the visor open...and even then, it's hot. But wait and see...in 20 years everyone will use Sleep Helmets instead of pillows...they'll be climate-controlled and I am sure they will play music and do alarm clocks too...

wow truly amasing, i am getting me a racing seat for my computer chair, i am gonna go the extra effort to be different and get a 5-way harness..
I would advise against using a 5-way harnass and a race seat without re-enforcing the desk... In a violent computer maneuver, you could conceiveably pull the desk onto yourself and if you're strapped into your race seat, you wouldn't be able to avoid it...

And if you have seen as many desk mutilations as I have, you would think twice, too.

yeah, my desk suffered a catastrophic failure last year. measures are being implemented to properly reinforce it. I am contemplating integrating a HANS device for when the computer crashes, caused by "driver" error

OMP actually makes an office chair like that out of leather I think. At the very least they sell conversion brackets to attach the race seats to swivel bases. I've seen 'em in Driving Impressions at Summit Point.

Also, Corbeau makes one to fit any of their seats. Not sure if it would work for a Momo, Sparco, OMP or other brand though.

Jon
who has a spare Corbeau Forza II, and a crappy office chair... hmmm...
