Has anyone ever took a passenger seat and moved it to the drivers side? I am going to get some si seats but drivers seat has usuall tears on it but passenger seat is clean. I don't have the seats yet so I haven't been able to look at the seat rails, other that that the hardest part would probally be switching the seat belt connectors over to the other side. Would any of the mounting bolts line up? Thanks for any responses.

i'm pretty sure it wont line up... unless maybe you swaped the tracks...

 

Yeah, i would swap everything over to the passenger seat. Wondering if i would have to drill any holes for anything or anything custom besides just swapping everything over if it even would work. Anyone done this?

 

you can switch the cloth and foam from the seat back from one side to the other but all the metal parts, and all the seat bottom parts are one side only.

just swap the sliders on the seats and theyll bolt right up

 

yea the sliders are not the problem. the seal belt bolts to the sliders which arent a problem either. the the damn lever u pull to flip the seat back that ud have to switch side on. i dont even know if you can. i was thinking about that yesterday because i have 2 good seats cept the driver one is just now showing wear. LOL i should go to pick and pull down here and bring some tools, find some seats and pull them apart to see if u can switch the lever over!

 

ahh i see. well...if worst comes to worst i got 2 crx si seats in PERFECT condition ill sell ya if u need em. but i think u might b able to switch em over. let me know if u figure it out . and hit me up if u want the seats bro. Aaron 413-3466

its not gonna just swap over..i have tried due to my own torn si seat....the pans are "one side only"..the cloth idea sounds like it might work though...

 

Just switch the seat pans.
