Default usdm f22b sohc vtec into 93 prelude Si

my friend's H23 has spun bearings so he is swapping in a F22b sohc vtec that he got for $450.

he got the motor, tranny, ecu, and a chopped up wiring harness. Can he use the axles from his H23? What about the wiring harness? what else will he need to complete the swap?

thanks

I thought that the F22b was a 2.2L DOHC non-vtec.

If it is an F22b then he can use his stock axles (from what I have heard).

usdm F22b = sohc vtec 135 hp
jdm F22b = dohc non-vtec 160 hp

do you know if the H23 axles will work with a USDM F22b tranny?

edit: should I post this in the hybrid forum?

Oh ok I got a little confused because your first post didnt mention USDM/JDM. My Fault. The Hybrid forum would probably have some useful information concerning this.

Yea, you would use H22/H23 axles.

I think the major problem is the distributor. Accord has an internal coil, Prelude has an external coil. Accord harness will fix that.

from my knowledge, the difference would be if it ABS or non-ABS... so obviously, if the 'lude has ABS i would use ABS axles... there is also a difference if it is a MT or AT

i thought:

sohc non vtec 135 hp = usdm f22a1
dohc non vtec 160 hp = jdm f22b

correct me if i'm wrong.
