valve cover seals not coming out (searched)
ok... i pulled my valve cover off a few days ago and saw one of the seals was bent a little and that oil stained the inside... (maybe this is where my oil has been burning?)
anyway... i decided to replace all of them... i order from hondaautomotiveparts... i get them in two days
i go to remove the old ones... heated them up with a hair dryer just to be safe... but theyre hard as a rock... and i pull on them and the inside of the seal rips off... now i have partly glued on seal stuck around the edges and the outside of the seal is stuck inside the groove... how do i get it out of the groove and get the rest off?
here's some pics:

use a very thin screwdriver to get between the seal and valve cover .since it has a wire inside it will stay bent when you pry at it.then grab firmly with needle nose pliers.it is a little work.but always worked for me.good luck
awesome, that worked... got a thin screwdriver and lightly tapped it in with a hammer and bent the ring outwards and then pulled as hard as i could :D thanks
