Maintenance req'd light still on after odometer reset
My moms 98 Accord V6 has a solid yellow maintenance req'd light even after the odometer reset.
Can someone tell what maintance is req to get rid of the dumb light (no manual)?

i have a 95, and in mine there is a little spot on the gauge cluster near it that you can stick you key in to reset it. I think it just trips every so often to remind you about oil changes, but it might be different on your 98
it's only mileage based (comes on every 7500 miles)... so it seems to me that you didn't reset it correctly. with the key in the "off" position, push and hold the trip reset button, then turn the key to "on", but don't start the engine. continue to hold the trip reset button for around 20 seconds or so. the light will flash a couple times, then turn off.

I think i cut it off at 19sec the first few trys.

hold the light button down then put it on the on position and it should turn off... or if that doesnt work keep holding it then crank the motor and see if it turns off then... it should just turn off you dont even have to the service its juss telling you you ran alot ob miles haha
