I need mini me help!!
So I bought a ported, polished, and milled .03 over Y8 head recently for a really good price, and I just bought the new Honda Tuning. In their mini me swap write up, it says a Y8 head with a ZC block, will yield 12.6:1 c/r. Yet the A6/Y8 combo will yield 10.3:1 c/r. How can this be? I don't know what's so different about the A6 and the ZC that the c/r will jump like that? As far as I know and have been told, the only differences are in the head. So is there a way I can still use this head and lower the c/r for street use? Will a thicker head gasket and adjustable cam gear do the trick? Am I screwed??? Help!!
