yes and no...

yes for the fact that it will give you the most gains for a full amuse setup (race setup)

no, it will work with other mods but don't expect gains. maybe 1-2whp. so in this case its not worth it.

if you have the amuse set up, go for it

in a recent hot version video i saw that was all about tuning the s2k...the amuse ecu combined with an amuse exhaust seems to make some pretty decent gains..especially in midrange!!...i think its not a bad idea if u dont want to go with an aem ems unit...just make sure u get an all amuse setup

I would also go ems cause then you can tune with what you got, your not obligated to go one route !

The Amuse ECU is meant to work with 93 and up octane fuel.

thats how it is with all parts.

mugen works best with the mugen setup....spoon with the spoon...and amuse with the amuse...

personally i would get AEM ems, there is a lot more variety for the tuning.

only reason i see amuse ecu is pretuned where as the aem ems you need a tuner (preferably a very good one)

Because you can say you have the Amuse ECU. Because it's JDM.

Not going to beat the EMS in terms of most capabilities of making power. But, whatever. If you want to spend 1500 on an ECU that is basically a chipped stock ECU, be my guest.

You can buy the Amuse ecu which is tune for 92 octane. Just tell the shop where you order from and they are able to get it for sure.

You don't need to have full Amuse parts inorder to use their ecu cuz even Amuse's S2k doesn't have all Amuse parts in it.
