race dash?need one...
hey guys, post your pics of your race dash or interior, i'm getting ready to work on mine and would like some ideas/suggestions, thanks! right now i'm thining of just making my own aluminum dash for my eg,but is it still legal to drive it on the street like that?
try looking at the dash that Vibrant Performance has, it is a fiberglass unit and allows use of gauges and you can customize to your appilcation. Perfect fit into a civic.

cool, i think id rather make my own aluminum than spend a lot on a fiberglass one, i jus need something to mount guages so i'm not concerned on the visual appearance

Vibrant dash comes plain, that one is just shown to see what you can do with it.
Its very light and constructed very well. You can see it being used by Tien Suspensions to display their product and also Stewart-Warner gauges.

here is the one that Ive been working on during the winter...
Its not perfect, but it turned out nicely... Its fiberglass and it hardly weighs anything... I just wasnt happy with the current offerings, so I decided to try something different.

but the reason why i want aluminum is bc i can make that, i can weld, i can bend, and i can easily get a sheet of aluminum at my work.i guess i'll jus try it and see how it works
