Default Buddy's b20vtec build up finally finished!

My guy had the motor getting built for a while now and it's finally complete. I can't wait myself till he puts it in his '88 hf. Motor consists of...

#b20z2 block w/ pr3 b16a head
# ARP Head Studs
# Eagle Rods
# JE 12.5:1 Pistons
# GSR OBD1 Oil Pump
# Fully Balanced Bottom End
# New Honda Thermostat and Gasket
# Golden Eagle LS/Vtec Conversion kit
# New Gsr Timing Belt
# New Honda GSR
# Arp rod bolts
# mild Ported and Polished Head
# 3 angle valve job
# Crower Stage 3 63403 Race Cams
# Crower Valve Springs
# Crower Titanium Retainers
# New Type-R Injectors
# Greddy 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Header

he's planning on converting to obd-1 p28 ecu w/ hondata tuned. I know he didn't sleeve the block like i told him he should of done, but he told me that no one really makes sleeves for that block for some odd reason- i guess he's just gonna have to keep his rev's low. Also, what octane you think he should be running on this motor? and i believe he should run some 310cc injectors instead of those type r ones...what do you guys think? possible 12 sec. rex!

he should run at least 310s, possibly 440s if he wants to not max them out and run 65+PSI of fuel pressure.

That's a good setup should make nice numbers. what type of IM is he going to use? i agree with you that he should run at least 310cc injectors, and if he can't get that can into 12 sec. he needs to stop driving. post #'s if you can

motor is getting dropped in finally as we speak. he has a skunk2 im on it now but he's talking about changing it and putting a bigger tb on...idk which ones are better for his application. He went w/ the 440cc injectors. The only problem now is breaking the motor in. He's running a p28 ecu but is going to go w/ hondata. Idk if he should drive the car around to break in the motor while running a stock p28 ecu or if he should just get like a hondata basemap hooked up....then break it in....then dynotune it. what do you guys think?
