Electrical cuts out, very odd...
Well, i jsut got done swapping my turbo d16y8 setup into my new chassis, motor ran great. But the electrical system keeps acting like it has a loose ground, some times just the headlights will dim, sometimes the car will turn off and on real fast. My wideband reads reallllllly rich when it acts up, and it does it all the time, car is not drivable. All my grounds, battery to tranny, tranny to frame, thermostat, and valve cover are fine. Batt cables are tight. THe only thing i can think of is i took teh ac out, and relocated all the wires for it under the passenger side, where the resonator was. There was one little brown wire that was grounded, but i dont remember having a problem removing it in the past. What could be the problem..
REmember, its not the motor, its strictly electrical. The motor will still accelerate when its doing this, but it wil cut out when cruising. i switched to a working dx main relay if that would affect anything, and i swapped to obd1, but didnt run the 4 wire o2, i turned it off in uberdata, seeing if it even needs to be hooked up. It still shouldnt do what its doing if the o2 isnt connected. Im stumpted. Its dark, and im sick and tired, any help is appreciated.

i had a similar problem in a 91 crx si, power flipped on and off randomly. like someone hitting a light switch really fast at random times.
look at the large fuses in the fuse box. the ones that screw in place, a screw came loose on me and it was intermittetnly making a connection as it moved up and down..

I had a similar problem. I was having weird electrical problems, systems would cut in and out, they would do it one time, and then sometimes not again for weeks. Eventually got so mad I just started tracing EVERYTHING.
Open your steering column shrouds and check your ignition switch. Not the actual "keyed" component, but the donut like plastic ring that conects to the back of the keyed part. Make sure all the external soldering points are solid. If any of the internal ones are loose you'll have to replace the whole ignition harness because it's a sealed unit (new was about $70 Canadian, so $40-ish US).
WARNING, putting the thing back in can be VERY tricky and you may need a second person around for the extra set of hands while putting the upper and lower shrouds back onto the steering column (mine was a VERY tight fit).
Hope that might help
