ls swap into eg..crv ac bracket?

we jus dropped a 99ls into an eg, and i know that you
have to use the p54 ac bracket in order to use the ac, but i heard
somewhere that u can use a crv ac bracket to make this work also
and its cheaper?

is this true?.....if so what year crv..

no i believe u need one from a del sol that came with a b16

The 97 crv bracket works perfectly and costs 1/2 the price of the P54. I have it on my swap. The part # is 38930-P7J-000.

That is correct, that part works perfectly.

The crv bracket will work on all b18 motors with ps.

It will not work on B16 motors with power steering since the head is not as tall.

The 97-00 B20 brackett will work with D-series Ac compressors with NO Problems.

hey not meaning to thread jacn or anything but what ac tensior do you use if you have the p54 on ls/vtec? or just ls?

WRONG. This forum is so full of misinformation.

I just installed a CRV AC bracket on my B16A2 w/ power steering. Everything works just fine. The CRV bracket fits just like the OE B-series bracket.
