Default ANR header and b16

Heya guys.

We've all heard of overcamming and the like, now I'm wondering if there is any way that i can under-motor a header

I have somewhat of an unusual question, but please don't stop reading. In my car I have an sirII b16a (CAI, 2.25 exhaust, ecu)

NOW... the question I had mentioned. If I were to run an anr compact race header would my b16 really take full advantage of it. (keep in mind I won't be running a cat)

I will be getting a set of ctr cams, and adjustable cam gears for next year, but in the meantime, would i see better gains from the an-r than, lets say a dc 4-2-1?

you would not like the an-r header on a b16....i have the an-r header on a high compression 1.83 liter motor and lost a lot of low end over my dcsport 4-1....but from about 7k up it pulled like u wouldnt believe

really? I do appreciate that advice... The only reason i was loking at the 4-2-1 is for the better torque curve.

thanks man. Now I wanna hear what more people have to say.

get more combustion and it would be fine aka make more power and you should be fine.

what i meant was......the header would be fine on a b16 as long as he is making some nice power. thats all....i dont think the header would work at full potential unless the stock b16 was always at 5k+ rpms....like i said....make more power.....add a thinner head gasket...cams head work...add more compression and the header will be fine. thats what i meant, it easily makes sense.
