IACV for 92 prelude
f22, sorry about that. i'm trying to find out for a guy at work, his car has been doing the loping idle routine since last winter and he doesn't know what it is so i told him to change his IACV. he thought it was his TPS but i pulled his codes and it had the IACV code. i was having the same problem with my civic then after i fixxed ti i would hear him in the parking lot and i wanted to tell him but we didn't really talk so i said **** it.
I thought it was all of my above but my base idle was just set way too low, even though when I unplugged the iacv it still ran, and idled at like 500, idno.. i got fretted and took it to a shop, an hour later they gave it back to me perfect, hasnt slipped since. I dont know, but I DID waste a bunch of time removing the iacv, swapping my h22 with my friends h23 iacv, (after trying to swap with my friends accords f22b2 one, except it was located somewhere else and we didnt want to bother trying to remove it..
I also wasted time trying the FITV.
Wish i had known it was what my idle was set at all alonggg
