Default Monroe's?

Theres like noone responding to my thread on the suspension forum.... So my question is How good are Monroe shocks?? Also are the limits to which springs/coilovers they work with? Any input would be so helpful and yes i'm using them to lower my car about 1.25-1.5 inches. I also thought about tokico's, KYB AGX's etc but Monroe's are all i can afford

Monroe's are garbage, they are made for factory ride height, and I don't think they would handle a drop very well at all. Struts are one thing that you should not skimp out on for your suspension. The Monroe's would most likely blow in a month or two and you would just have to go out and spend more money to replace them.

I have Tokico Illuminas on my DA and I love them. I've also heard great things about the AGX's but they don't make them for my car.
