Can anyone give me input on Monroe Shocks? Like how they handle. . . stiffness etc?? And do they work well with all springs/coilovers? I was thinking of buying them to lower my car about 1.5 inches or so
If you're considering the Monroes b/c of the price, you can get Koni Special (Red) shocks for cheaper. They have the same warranty (lifetime, depending on which Monroe you went with) but the Koni's are morely geared for the performance of what you're looking for. You can also find others (Tokico and KYB) for cheaper as well. Check out Tirerack and see what they carry for you.

Not sure what Monroe model you are considering as none of them should really be considered a performance shock but definately do not use the Sensa-trac model on a lowered car. They are a position sensative shock made to give an extra soft ride at stock ride height so running them lowered is defiantely not suggested.
monroe is a stock shock from an aftermarket company, like you blow a shock on your minivan its getting monrie shocks cheaper that like a ford/ gm what ever the F*ck you drive's shock, dont do it please
