Default DC5R's

Found this site while searching. http://forum.itr-dc5.com/viewtopic.php?t=1845

I was going to get a new M3 after I sale my DC2R, but then I saw these adds in the UK. I was thinking I could fly over from Germany on Rhein Air cheap then pick a DC5R up and come back on a fairy.

that'd be a nice replacement, but it wouldn't offer anything too much better. why are you getting rid of the R anyway? if you wanted something more suitable for for daily life, m3 will be more reasonable.

I may have the spelling wrong. I have flown on the airlines several times to Spaing and Itally from Frankfurt Hahn Germany. I thought it was Rhein
Air. My wife did all the booking of the flights.

I don't know what I want. I change my mind every day. Hell I got new rims sitting in the box and new tires I purchased about two weeks ago for the R. I have had the R for four years. I guess I am ready for something different.

IMO, the DC5R will hardly be that much different compared to the difference the E46 will provide.

Maybe the sixth gear will help to keep revs down on the bahn. Save me about 15k too. The Bimmer is sweet too. I don't really see many of the E46's in Germany, and when I do it usually has an American plate.

The sixth gear is still an agressive gear. There is no cruising in the DC5R. Of course I am on a tiny little island with no major expressways, pretty much all city driving, I average about 18mpg, highest I have ever achieved is about 23 and a low of about 14. I also have a HEAVY foot and am constantly winding the thing out.
