Trouble Shooting Need Help ?
Heres the story, I was low on gas going to work and as soon as i pull in the drive way its starts sputtering,so i get gas from my job, put it in and let it run.But it was only enought to get me to a gas station.so i put gas in and its still sputtering. hmm
i make it home and check the plugs, they were pretty foul so i change them and start to see if its still sputtering it is, by the way one of the wire plugs doesnt have a rubber piece on the bottom. I think there the same stock wire plugs that came with the car in 95. What could it be HELP HELP HELP i need my everyday driver !

if you dont have the bottom rubber peice on the plug wire, the plug will arch and ground out and cause it not to fire, how long has it been like that? i say get new wires
remember how i said that we changed the spark plugs, well as we did the first one the socket wouldnt grip we found out that the plastic part melted so it took me about 20 to get that stuff out. we put duck tape to see if that was the problem but the tape must not of worked.
Progress on the trouble, changed the wires its still sputtering? Is it possible for the timing to jump or something like that. cause it was running fine before it almost ran out of gas. Im stumped
