The Y5 cam is actually more aggressive then the y8 cam. I'll be able to see which is better. the z6 bottomend with a HX head and z6 manifold on a chipped p28 or my hatch with a d15b with a chipped p28 also. Both have I/H/E. I'll take a y5 head over a z6 head in a heartbeat for OEM purposes but since the y5 doesn't have any cams i have to switch back over to the z6 if I were to get a different cam later on.

what is the y5? and so the d15b cam does make more power on the y8 head right?

I don't think the D15b/D16z6 cam fits in the Y8 heads.

the cams fit just timing will be off by 5 degrees or so. the y5 is the hx motor and the d15b cam is similar in specs to the zex stage 1's from what i've heard.
