I remember the thread there was about it a while back and someone said that the car is now in CA, bought by some private buyer for his collection or something like that...

Leave it to Honda to NOT produce something like this. Only test it for their AWD systems

btw this is not ITR related

Actually Honda DID produce a AWD Integra called a ZXi but it had a SOHC 1.6, and only came in 4dr! Swap a ITR w/ a 1st gen CRV trans!!!!! There you go!

*Sorry bum link - try this* http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/Mod....html

It was called Xi-AWD...and was only available with auto transmission. The ZXi was a front wheel drive dual headlight 2 or 4dr integra.

Theres one in my home town and i was travelling behind it today in slow moving traffic. The sticker on the back said Xi-AWD and its faded as if it has been there since new....so i dunno anymore as the car is completely stock and is driven my a middle age woman so she's not likely to start putting different stickers on the rear of it.

Edit: I just realised tha car in my home town is a later model with the single piece JDM headlights, and its called the Xi, and the earlier dual headlight model was the ZXi

AWD does NOT = automatic hotness. There's a lot of additional weight involved, complexity (more stuff to break), and drivetrain issues (there's a reason a lot of Subies and Evos have tranny problems, and it's not entirely poor manufacturing all the time). The only thing I like about AWD is having fun offroad or in the snow.

<---Owned an SVX back in the day, provided many hours of snowy-field entertainment.

According to Honda they only made it in DB (4dr). So the 2dr would not be "tooled" for it. However I bet the US 4d is probably "tooled" for the AWD system since it was built in Japan also!
