Default Oxygen sensor placement and it's effects?

Ok, I know that the old obd-0 designs had the o2 sensor up close to the head since it was unheated, and obd1 has a heated version down at the collector.

Now, in my CRX, I am running an obd1 b18c1 (chipped p72) and a 4-wire o2, but I have a 90 Integra LS exhaust manifold with the o2 sensor up closer to the head.

I have a Greddy header that was given to me for free (the collector flange was broken.) and I would like to use it on this motor since the 90 LS one is about the size of a straw.

Anyways, the Greddy header has a single o2 sensor bung up on the #3 primary.

(yes, I know the motor in the pic doesnt even have the timing belt/etc on, but when I was building it, I was anxious to take some pictures of what it would look like )

Should I plug this bung and install a new one down by the collector, or can I run it up by the head and still be fine? If so, should I disable the o2 heater?

Let's hear the pro's and cons. Thanks in advance.

Cliffs:
Want to put a new obd0 header on an obd1 car, has o2 bung in primaries by head, what should I do?
