I picked up an 85 Accord hatch from a friend recently, (82k original miles, 1 owner). Everything is great about the car --by that I mean it makes a good winter car, is reliable/well maintained, and appears mechanically sound.

My only concern is the interior --it's shot. The carpet can probably be salvaged if shampood/scrubbed to hell, but the seats are shot. Front and Back.

Would I be better off having the seats re-covered, or replaced?

Which other Honda seats will be a direct bolt in? (Front and Back)

just get some of those cheapy ebay racing seats

 

i considered this but don't really want the car to look like it has cheap ebay seats in it.. plus i am really looking for something stock-looking to bolt right in.

i'm not really trying to do anything with the car but drive it to work and class.
