I'm gonna pay around $2500 after tax and install, but still can't wait for it. Don't help when your friend just got their's and takes you for a ride in it.

That 87 si was in the 13's on street tires. That is just absolutely awesome.

I'm currently working on my swap. In a couple of weeks I'm shipping off my block to have it built. I will be NA with about a 13:1 static compression ratio. I'm spending $6000 alone on the engine. yeesh!! but i'm expecting to be in the 12's when i'm done.

Are you guy's that are running the b20's running into any hood clearance issues? I'm getting ready to put a built ls/vtec in a 89 crx si but I heard I might need a new hood or at least modify it.

Well my friend owns his own shop and that is how I'm getting it so cheap. Or at least to me that is cheap. The shop that will be doing the swap is Intercrew.

you can cut away at the metal under the hood, then it will fit perfect...

Thats a sweet deal. Just wondering what kind of pistons/rods and cams are in your setup.
Hope everything goes smoothe.

Yea...currently we ran a 12.81@110mph.
Done this wit a pretty stock setup...
Type R valvetrain
b20 block
b16 head
Type R manifold
RC 310's
Wiseco Pistons
Slicks

This was done in a 89 crx si. Hoping to hit 11's next season with HONDATA.

Yea considering it was done wit a type r valvetrain...no cams And a 12 year old suspension...id consider it pretty good. I know we have moderate mods..but its not all we can do.
