My 98teg has been acting up latley whenever i turn the steering wheel left and right there is a "crunching sound" its not too loud but noticable. also when i brake and that last little jerk right before you completely stop happens i hear it, i was inspecting the suspension and i noticed that the two boots on the rack and pinion are ripped i thought it might be that, but why would it make that sound when i stop? any ideas or past experiences?
