Default Drive Shafts for H22 conversion

What drive shafts are best to get me up and rolling when doing a H22 conversion in a 88-91 CRX? D series? B series? Or custom made? Which have been proven to work the best so far bearing a budget of maximum $500.

thanks in advance

you will want to check out DSS and Gator
i just ordered some DSS level 1's, i hope everything works out.

http://www.gatorracingaxles.com/index.shtml

i talked to Gator over the phone and he quoted my 400 for his stage 1 axles. i have heard nothing but good things about Gator. DSS, on the other hand is known for cheap/braking boots.

take care
Matt

The boots on my DSS axles split after about a year. I think the winter is especially hard on them. I sent them back to get repaired, and they used a different material for the new boot. They are claiming that the new boots will hold up much better. I've been running the new ones now for about a year, they have survived a winter, and the boots are holding up fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

When did they start using new boots? Bought mine back in Feb 04, no problems at all. Heavy *** axles for stage 1's though.

all right!!! that's great news. I hope mine last. My current axles (OEM combos) are so bad, I won't even drive the car until I get the DSS's in.
on the other hand, i bought this set refurbished by DSS off ebay. i asked him why they were returned, and he said a torn boot.
i think i will be ok though.
