Ok, this is rather wierd, i recently moved my battery to the rear, but this problem has existed since a couple days before it, so im not sure if they are related.
Car: 90 Civic Hatc - JDM D15
Ok, when im driving, at night, i will have the high beams on and put my turn signal on, and things will start to go haywire. Like the tach will start bouncing, and the temperature guage will start to rise. One would think this is an electrical problem, like a draw problem, but when i put other loads on the system, ie defroster, heat, wipers, it doesnt do it. Any thoughts?
Also possibly related, my gas guage seems to just hover at halfmast, it doesnt really fluxuate, and i think it might be related. So any input would be great. I think it might be a bad ground or blown fuse, let me know what you think...
Thanks

check the ground by the thermostat housing...that is usually the biggest pain
the helms manual for the car lists all the proper ground points.
check the one by the main relay, theres one high above the gas pedal.
also where did you choose to ground the battery in the rear?

Did you test that bolt for a good ground before you moved the battery back there? I would check behind your gauge cluster and below the steering column for a loose ground.
I have a similar problem. At night, the first couple of times that I put the blinker on all the dash lights go out on me for a second or two. So I just bought some 1 guage wire and I am going to replace all the ground wires I can find in the engine bay this weekend to see if it helps.
