I'm really new at this stuff. My question is where do you place the feeler gauge? Do you check the clearance under the lob of the camshaft? I have only had the valve cover off one time and just looked around under there. I checked my helms manual and the picture really doesn't give me a good idea on where to place the feeler gauges? Any help or pictures would be great. Thanks

 

slide it under both non-vtec lobes, their should be a slight tug or resistance...... make sure u do the cylinders in the proper order
