H22 without VTEC WTF?? Need help

Some dude is trying to sell me a H22. He said that it is missing one cam shaft and the engine is from japan. He said that that engine has no VTEC.

Is there an H22 without VTEC? or was he pulling my leg.

h22 has vtec, unless it wasn't working for him. but if its only missing a camshaft, h22 cams only go for $75 used.

If its missing a cam, then i have a set for sale. haha. but if it only uses one cam, then sorry buddy, thats not an h22, most likely an f22 or f23... let me know if you decide to buy the motor and need that cam tho
