Default water and oil pump

Im planning on building a ls vtec but until I have the money Im just gonna finish the block and use the ls head. I was wondering since I already have the motor out if I would
be able to use the gsr water and oil pump without a vtec head?

Oil and water pumps will work fine. You will need to use the gsr timing belt. The gsr water pump has more teeth.

Yes.You said you were using ls head. The gsr pump means you need the longer (gsr) belt.
