Default Bad brakes=EBRAKE light? 98 V6

Well recently my cars been squeeking by the front passengers wheel and I was thinking it was the brakes. It only squels when im moving but sometimes it doesnt squel. Then this week I noticed that when im at WOT or near WOT(<40%) my ebrakelight comes on. I have no idea why the EBRAKE light comes on though. Do the V6's have a sensor or something to trigger it? It drives me nuts. If i hit the brakes or slow down it goes off. If coast with it on it does nothing. Only reason why I know its from WOT or partial throttle is because I started to play with it and those are the symptoms.

Another thing was that a month ago when I was changing my oil I noticed that a thin sheet of metal was protruding from the brake caliper and rubbing into my rotor. I tried to push it back in but it just bent a lil because it was thin sheetmetal. Its like betweent he brake pad and the caliper. Also I noticed it was cutting in the the rotor itself(not the face but where the studs are).

Can anyone help me out? I dont want to drive knowing my EBRAKE is engaged.

Ive had to change brakes on a 98 4banger but im thinking the V6 might be different as far as letting the owner know whats up. Theres so many more differences from the 4banger and V6 sensor wise.

I was thinking of taking off my brake pad indicator off too but, it's there for saft reasons, it tells you that you brake pads are shitty and need changing.

You have one of two problem.1st your brake fluid is low from the pads being worn out causing the light to come on.Second you may have a bad float in the brake master cylinder. The float and screen shound be replaced at the same time and cost around $15.00 from the dealer. You can do the brakes on a V-6 just like a 4 cyld.Hope this helps.
